Interpreter's Edge, Generic Edition consists of a paperback
book and a set of five one-hour audio CDs. These materials
provide English-language source materials designed to provide
interpreters and interpreting students with training in all the
requisite techniques of court interpreting. The materials provide
a total of 47 lessons, broken down as follows:
Additional simultaneous practice material is provided in the form of expert witness testimony, miscellaneous court proceedings, and jury instructions. Suggestions for obtaining source materials in your second language are included.
The Interpreter's Edge, Generic Edition, can be used to learn and practice interpreting from English to any other language. ACEBO also provides language-specific add-on CD and cassette sets for use with The Interpreter's Edge, Generic Edition.
